Since its inception, One Billion Futures has evolved from a bold vision into a growing global movement, catalyzing conversations and partnerships across continents. What began as exploratory dialogues at high-level convenings has steadily transformed into concrete collaborations, learning initiatives, and strategic commitments.
Convening at UNGA80
A convening on 26 September 2025 brought together leaders from philanthropy, government, civil society, and global institutions to explore the future of education systems through the lens of One Billion Futures.
Roundtable with Strategic Partners and System Orchestrators on 5th February 2026
On the sidelines of ShikshaLokam’s flagship event InvokED 5.0, on 5th February, we brought together a group of strategic partners, social entrepreneurs and system orchestrators who are deeply engaged in shaping large-scale change in different parts of the world, to continue our conversations around the shared aspiration of One Billion Futures.

One Billion Futures @Education House
As a key partner in the Education House initiative, alongside Teach For All, we have hosted and contributed to conversations on One Billion Futures at UNGA80 and Davos 2026. We are also co-convening the Education House at the Skoll World Forum 2026.
Learning Agenda with Teach For All
In partnership with the Global Learning Institute at Teach For All, a learning agenda is underway with social entrepreneurs and philanthropic foundations to begin seeding and exploring the idea of movement orchestration.
